The clock struck twelve as Jerry pulled up to the warehouse. The big clock in town central could always be heard throughout this part of town.
Larry pulled his coat tighter as he stepped out of his warm car into the chilling wind. Shivers ran down his spine, but not from the cold. He was nervous and afraid of what he was about to do.

After diving behind a dumpster to avoid detection as the truck passed by, Jerry brushed himself off and took in a deep breath. It was time.
Walking faster and faster with each step, Jerry quickly made his way to a side entrance that he knew would be unlocked. He crept slowly inside closing the door behind him, and quietly made his way towards the storage area.
He had the combination to the padlock written on the back of his hand, and it worked like a charm. He entered the storage room, turned the corner, and there it was...

His newly-built time machine sat in the corner waiting for someone to spring it to life. Jerry knew he had to get to the town central clock in time if he was going to get his time machine to work like it did on Back to the Future. Jerry was convinced that it would work like it did in the movie.
He climbed into the machine only to notice...

...the flux capacitor was damaged.
"Oh no," he thought to himself, "what am I going to do now." The mere thought of actually travelling through time would give him goosebumps. The thought of travelling with a damaged flux capacitor practically made him sick. "What if I can't control the leap time accurately enough? I could end up in the wrong era."
It was imperative for him to make the leap in order to complete his mission, but the risk was too much. He had to fix the capacitor, but how? He needed to find something capable of handling the 1.21 gigawatts of electricity that will surge through the capacitor. Looking around he noticed...

Tools, a generator and batteries. Their was even a new hard drive for a computer still in its box. In the next room was a science lab with plans to use a energy cell capable of sending space ships on a two year journey to Mars.
